How often it is that you are called upon by
an international university or a forum to present your research thesis? Hardly
are you able to hide the joy and excitement of the opportunity to astonish the
best of the best with your novel ideas, the chance to visit a new country, meet
new people and see new people.
So when I got this once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity to present my paper in New York, the first two-three day were spent
in sheer bewilderment. And when I finally got my senses restored, I was
awakened to the need of booking an international airline that was light on my
pocket, an airline I could rely on, one that had good service, and remarkable
hospitality. Hence, I zeroed in on Lufthansa. The following factors will
substantiate why.
A flight with a range of inflight dishes. No wonder energies are synergised to focus on that big stage. But when you are inflight, you want to make sure you serve them everything best. With Lufthansa’s More Indian Than You Think initiative, I relished on some amazing Indian cuisine that was followed by my favourite masala chai. I can’t explain enough the exhilarated feeling savouring my favourite tea at an altitude of 30,000 feet.
Cabin
crew. That, definitely, holds the key to a
comfortable flight. As Lufthansa sticks to an amazingly hospitable cabin crew
that uses national languages such a Hindi and Punjabi, I had an amazing time
versing with the crew members.
Inflight
entertainment.
Might seem a not-too-important thing, but when the flight is long, you got to
find ways that keep you engaged. While flying with Lufthansa, I was pleased to
come across a range of inflight entertainment options which included not only Bollywood
hits but also a range of Bollywood classic songs that my mom hummed before
catching a nap. Blissful!
Consider the points above, and you’ll find that flying
to a foreign shore with a minefield of knowledge and a flight to cater to all
your tastes brings with it a new sense of joy and accomplishment that you’ll
love to cherish for a long time.
